Today, November 20, is the day that remembers and commemorates the victims of transphobic hatred and prejudice.
The Politecnico di Milano is committed to playing an active role in the development of inclusive work and study environments for all, regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
The actions carried out to pursue this goal are many and diversified. Among the many we can mention:
- the renewal of the patronage of Milano Pride for the third consecutive year;
- the membership of Parks - Liberi e Uguali in 2018, the first university to join the association created to help member companies to understand and realize the full potential of business related to the development of good practices for the respect of diversity;
- the introduction of the double university booklet for students who want to proceed with the gender transition;
- support to the student association Poliedro.
