Your university is at the forefront of anti-gender gap policies. It is no coincidence that the POP project was launched. What is it about?
POP stands for Politecnico Equal Opportunities and was born from the idea of ensuring a study and work environment that respects and values diversity. The project has five lines of action: gender identity, intercultural differences of nationality and religion, diversity of sexual orientation, support for different skills and psychological well-being. In particular, Gender Pop has several objectives: to bring girls closer to the study of scientific subjects (STEM), - because we are far from having equal opportunities, since elementary school, unfortunately - to provide students with a welcoming environment that supports them in the study and interviews in the world of work and, finally, actions of support (for example, for maternity), training and "role model", presenting positive models, from those who have established themselves in research to those in the company.
